Architects have always enjoyed designing chairs, furniture, and other housewares, some useful, some beautiful, and some both. In recent years, architects and industrial designers have crossed disciplines even more as design has become a vertically integrated idea and designers have collaborated on everything from consumer goods to high-rise condominium towers. Peter Hendee Brown discussed some of his favorite products and showed how product designers have been influencing the quality of experience in real estate development through their ever-broadening ideas of design.
